Host an Event > About Being A Host
On May 10, thousands of people worldwide will host local Friends of Pangea Day events. They'll be held in homes, schools and offices; backyards and a Bedouin camp; movie theaters and public beaches ... anywhere people can gather. It will be the first global campfire, harnessing the power of new technologies to bring people together through film.
More than 1,000 events are being planned so far. A sampling:

Freetown, Sierra Leone
The Sierra Leone Bikers Association will hold a public screening on the beach in Freetown.

Maui, Hawaii
The Maui Film Festival will host an event under the stars.

Vienna, Austria
Das Dorf, a local arts and cultural center, will be the focal point for Pangea Day in Vienna.

Berlin, Germany
A spectacular celebration is planned at the grand Bertelsmann Mansion.

Milan, Italy
The program at beautiful Teatro Franco Parenti will feature performances exploring human rights.

Costa Mesa, California
Roadtrip Nation will gather in their production center to watch Pangea Day and learn about the nonprofit organization Invisible Children.
