In South Africa, a long-brutalized dog comes between a white landowner and his young black farmhand -- with fateful results.

Steve Pasvolsky is a filmmaker from Australia. Steve's short film, Inja, which he wrote and directed, was nominated for an Academy Award in 2003, in the Best Live Action Short category. The film also achieved acclaim around the world at such festivals as Sundance, New York, Telluride, and London. Steve followed up this critically acclaimed short with his feature debut Deck Dogz, a teen action film which he also wrote and directed. The film starred skateboarding legend Tony Hawk and was released by Universal in 2005. He is currently adapting the book Brothers in Arms into a feature film for Producer Martin Brown (Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge), which he will also direct. His next film, Dollarphilia, is due to be shot in August this year.
