More reports from Mumbai; screenings in Jordan

Local events continue to build momentum. Tom and Virginia send an update from Dharavi, Mumbai, India:

This morning we took some time to visit the hosts of a satellite screening in Dharavi, which was a huge departure from our experience of this cosmopolitan city so far. With no running water or electricity, the people of Dharavi are far from the technologies that have made Pangea Day possible. We saw today both the promise of a vibrant and self-sustaining community, as well an opportunity to support the work of local organizations. (Check out a video interview with the organizers on Ovi.com!)

Meanwhile, Nadine, an event organizer, writes from Jordan on her blog:

I'm holding a screening in Beidha/Petra with Arab TeleMedia at the Ammarin Bedouin Camp that's being set up by Waves. If you're in the south of Jordan and would like to join a local community and the live broadcast (9pm-1am Jordan time, 6-10pm GMT), please feel free to stop by. It's an open screening around the camp site free to all by a crackling fire, lots of tea, and the company of the wonderful Ammarins.
